Dassault Systèmes, Nvidia Launch Joint Industrial AI Vision

Insights Desk, February 4, 2026February 5, 2026

Dassault Systèmes and Nvidia have announced a long-term partnership to create a shared industrial AI platform that combines digital “virtual twins” with Nvidia’s AI computing technology for use across multiple industries.

The goal of the partnership is to move industrial AI beyond small, isolated tools. Instead, the companies want to build AI systems that are grounded in real-world physics, engineering rules, and proven industrial knowledge.

At the center of the collaboration is the integration of Dassault Systèmes’ virtual twin technology with Nvidia’s accelerated computing platforms and AI software. Virtual twins are digital models that mirror real-world products or systems and use live data to run simulations, predict outcomes, and improve performance.

Together, these technologies will create what the companies call “industry world models.” These models can act as a reliable digital reference for designing, testing, and operating complex products and production systems.

The shared platform will support a wide range of fields, including biology, material science, engineering, and manufacturing. It will also enable AI-powered “virtual companions” inside Dassault Systèmes’ 3DExperience platform, helping users work more efficiently with virtual twins.

The announcement was made at 3DExperience World in Houston, Dassault Systèmes’ annual event for design and engineering professionals. The partnership builds on nearly 25 years of collaboration between the two companies, starting with Dassault’s design software running on Nvidia graphics processors.

Both companies described this new phase as a move toward “physical AI,” where AI systems understand and work with the physical world, not just text or images.

Dassault Systèmes plans to support this vision by setting up AI factories through its Outscale cloud service, powered by Nvidia infrastructure across multiple regions while ensuring data security and regulatory compliance.

Nvidia will also use Dassault Systèmes’ engineering tools to design its own AI factories, beginning with its upcoming Nvidia Rubin platform and future large-scale AI deployments.

In life sciences, Nvidia’s BioNeMo platform will work with Dassault’s scientific models to support drug discovery and materials research. In engineering, virtual twins will use Nvidia technology to deliver near real-time performance insights, even for designers without deep simulation expertise.

By combining virtual twins with large-scale AI computing, Dassault Systèmes and Nvidia aim to create a shared industrial AI platform that helps companies design, simulate, and operate complex systems more accurately, bringing the physical and digital worlds closer together.
