AWS and SAP Strengthen European Digital Sovereignty

Amazon Web Services (AWS) and SAP SE announced that SAP Sovereign Cloud capabilities will be offered on the AWS European Sovereign Cloud, a new independent cloud for Europe supported by Amazon’s planned €7.8 billion investment.

Building on their long-term partnership, AWS and SAP are expanding collaboration to advance digital sovereignty and AI innovation in Europe.

SAP Sovereign Cloud delivers security-focused cloud solutions tailored for regulated industries and government organizations.

The partnership will integrate SAP’s enterprise knowledge with AWS’s robust infrastructure and operational capabilities, enabling customers across Europe to meet growing demands for secure, sovereign cloud services.
